Mobile Behavior Issue

I think I may be missing a setting, and I'm not sure where it is.

I have a parent table (assets) and child table (photos).

On my desktop, whether I am creating a new asset, or modifying an existing asset, I have a button to add photos (to child).

On mobile, when modifying the button to add photos is there. When creating a new asset, the button is not there.

I am using the same form for mobile and desktop. What am I missing?

    I do not believe that Mobile currently has the ability to add children to an unsaved parent.  You have to save first. (I just did a test myself on the Mobile App)

      Is there a way to make a button to save and return to edit mode in that same asset? My techs will be on site, clicking 'new asset' filling in information. Would be a shame for them to have to save, and then go searching the table for that asset to add pictures.

        They do not need or want to be in edit mode to add child pictures.  Are they launching off a dashboard button to add an asset. How did you set that button on the dashboard. it will default to return to the dashboard ,but there is a setting to show the record.  I assume that works on the mobile app, but I did not test.
