Nested Query?

Are nested queries possible in Quick Base?  I found the DoQuery API and have a rough guess on using it.  Here is the situation, I have a Project Number that can have one or more Request numbers and each Request can have one or more Activities.  There are two parts to this question.  First, can I nest the query or do I need a separate query for each step?  Second, the final result will be one or more numbers stored in a multi-line text field.  Is there a way to loop through the returned values?
