Opening Records in Form View after Modified in Grid-Edit View

I would like to have any records modified or created via the grid-edit view automatically opened in form view after clicking save. In fact, they don't even have to stay open, so something like a mass opening and closing of the records would suffice--if possible. The reason is I'm trying to trigger an IOL-related script and a lot of my users are primarily entering data from the grid-edit view, bypassing the only way to run the code: by opening the record.

    Or, is there something like a URL button I could make that would open/close all records entered that day, for example? That way it wouldn't bog down my users' experience if I could click it myself

    Hmm. What is the IOL script doing? I feel like there may be a better method than IOL in this case--a webhook could update a batch of records all at once, for example (based on them all being updated/created at once via grid edit).
