Possible to Create a button to record the GPS location?

Is there any way to have a button, that when pushed takes the GPS location of the mobile device, and records it into a field? Just got that request, and I dont even know where to start. ---------...

Kirk Trachys Magic Buttons has an example of this, but the example doesnt work. Anyone smart enough to read his code page and decode the error?
