Quickbase Checkbox

Hi, I want to create a table of performance dates that are tied to specific productions (another table). Then, when I add a new artist into a casting table, I want to be able to check which dates the artist will perform in the production. I want to be able to see all the artists cast to perform on a certain date, but am having trouble making the checkbox function in the casting table such that it will update the information on the performance date form. Is there any way someone can help out? Is this possible to do?
