Quickbase data type sizes ?
I have been trying to see how much each data type costs in terms of storage in Quickbase. It's a little mind boggling that an empty text field uses at a minimum 28 bytes with each additional character costing a byte.
For numeric it's 32 bytes fixed.
What type of database does Quickbase use in the background causing this large consumption per field ? Even a boolean checkbox field takes up 28 bytes.
