Save and keep working OR save and DON'T return MOBILE

Is it possible to either save and keep working, or simply save and NOT return to parent record, on mobile?  I've tried a rich text save and keep working button, but I think this fails because there is no save and keep working on mobile, lol.

I am on a parent record, adding a child, and want to be able to save and stay on that child. I tried modifying the add button, simply removing the return function at the end. This prevents it from returning on desktop, but somehow on mobile it still figures out how to return.
