Save and Print Button

I would like to create a button that would save the record and then call the page for an exact form label to print. Is there an API call to save the current record? ------------------------------ ...

Have you tried just using the URL to print the labels in the same tab, it should auto save when you attempt to navigate away from the page. But if that does not work, then post back. Can you also provide the URL you are using for the labels?
