Save record and email

Hi Ed,

There is an option in the native Quick Base Save to set up an option to Save and Keep Working. It appears on the form like below as an option for the save button:



You just need to enable it by customizing the form you are working in and then under the form properties checking the checkbox to enable Save and keep working. This will make the option appear in the dropdown. 



What this does is save whatever changes you have been making in the record like a standard save but then returns you back to the record in edit mode. I hope this information is helpful Ed.

Returning to edit mode does not allow the email option. Only the view mode does.

Hi Ed,Ahhh I thought you meant to trigger notification emails that fire off of a record change being saved. That is correct the email option is only displayed on a record in view mode, to reflect the state of the email and data that would be sent, since only the saved version of a record is emailed it.
