Sharing Reports via Dashboards

Question

Hello, all! I am looking to share reports with users in a dashboard format. Do I need to give view access to my tables and data to all those using the dashboard reports? I have some information in my tables that I do not want to share via these reports, so giving full view access to the tables is not something I want to do. Thank you for your help and explanations!

You don't have to give them full access to all data but in order for the reports to show they need access to the underlying data. You can still control the security access to only the data they need to see and the reports would render based on their access.
