Trying to email all clients in a particular phase simultaneously

Hi, I previously worked with another company who's QB allowed me to click on one email icon in the TOT row which allowed me to email either all my leads simultaneously, or all leads in a particular phase simultaneously. I have moved on to a new company and it does not allow me to email all my clients simultaneously.

Would someone be able to explain how to add this email ICON on the TOT row in which I would be able to email multiple clients simultaneously?

    The email icon only appears when the report you are on has a Group By setting for the sort.  If there is nothing that you need to Group By, you can make a Dummy text formula field, for example with the formula of "Email" and group  by that.

      Thanks Mark. Forgive me if I am not as technical as others on this thread. But where/how to I go to a report and have a Group by setting for the sort? How do I make a dummy text formula? I have never done this before.
