View a users role within a form

Question

Is there a way to view a users role within a form.

I have a drop down where you select a user from a list. When selecting a user I want the formula field User Role (text formula) to populate the role which the selected user is in.

There is not a native way to do that and also a user may be in many Roles.&nbsp;&nbsp;
