When does a subscription with a date actually fires off a report?

If I pick the 12th of the month to kick off a subscription, when does the subscription actually fire off? The early morning of the 12th, let's say before 6AM, or... sometime after that on the 12th?

    In my experience they start processing Subscriptions at 3:00 am Eastern Time Zone (which is midnight Pacific Time Zone) and most are delivered by about 8:00 am Eastern.  Where you fall in that range is randomly set when you build the Subscription.

    That is  just my experience, not claiming to actually know all the nuances of how they are processed in terms of sequence.
