Would like to reload browser window after a Save

I have a text field called Status on a form and a formula text field called Status Dynamic which is hidden from users.On save I have an automation that copies the value from Status Dynamic to the Status field.   The copying does occur but what does not happen is that the Status value does not automatically refresh on the form after the Save. I need to reload the browser and then I can see the new value. I would like to avoid this additional manual step. (Interestingly enough my embedded report does automatically refresh.)  I am looking for a solution that does not required I create a new Save button. However if I need to do so then I need to know how to hide the existing standard save button on top. Thanks.
