Making accurate, data-informed decisions quickly, even while you are on the go, is critical for organizations seeking to become dynamic enterprises. To achieve this, you need to have the right data available to the right people, at the right time. Quickbase’s new mobile dashboards are designed with this in mind. With their dual functionality as a home page for your applications and a comprehensive reporting tool, the dashboards enable you to gather real-time visibility into your metrics and KPIs and in the same time trigger different workflows and actions anywhere and at any time. Same as any other Quickbase mobile feature, your desktop dashboards are automatically available on mobile without any additional building required. However, given the different context and needs when users are accessing information through Quickbase mobile while being on the go, we encourage app admins to create a separate dashboard for mobile devices. This way you will ensure that your users will alwa

To empower builders and make Quick Base even more accessible we automatically generate a touch-friendly mobile experience for each of your apps. Now builders can direct their users to the Quick Base mobile app, for smartphone and tablets, to easily and securely access those applications from their mobile devices. WeÕre really excited to see users adopting the mobile app to make Quick Base more accessible, and want to get as much feedback from our Community as possible. On Thursday, April 25th, weÕll host a live AMA (Ask Me Anything) featuring two members of esteemed mobile development team Chris Hutchens and Bob Gregor. Recap Quickbase takes reliability and performance very seriously. We know your applications are used around the world to help do mission critical work. To that end, we are always improving our infrastructure to support continued growth of the platform. In order to support the increased volume of traffic to our RESTful APIs, we began a migration in December to a newer and more scalable infrastructure. The new infrastructure has already improved performance by an average of ~30%, helping customers do more in less time. We want to take a moment to offer some clarity on a few issues we have had so far and how we are rectifying them in order to keep our migration going as smoothly as possible. We make infrastructure changes, security upgrades, and conduct maintenance regularly with minimal disruption and our plan was for this migration to be the same - only improving performance. Extensive automated and manual testing was done in development and pre-production environments, with slow produc
I'm super excited about the new Quickbase Gantt Plugin which has just been released. However, I'm curious if there is an automation / code out there that will automatically add all the required tables and fields to existing apps? I have plenty of apps that I'll be adding this Gantt capability into. Most of them will have a couple of existing tables that will be used in the Gantt, but most will need to be created. I could create them manually, or I might go and write my own code to automatically setup an app with all the required tables.... don't want to do this if it's out there already. The idea is that the code would create all the tables... then I'd just cull the new tables that I don't need because I already have similar tables.Cheers,Matt------------------------------Matt Stephens------------------------------

Quickbase helps companies to see, connect, and control their most complex projects. Innovative business users are creating Quickbase applications fit for their team’s unique needs. And the result? Business teams are sharing the right information with the right people, at the right time. Over the past twenty years, we’ve seen this story play out many times. But as companies begin to realize the benefits of a unified platform like Quickbase, word gets out. Apps built for individuals spread to teams. Apps originally built for teams are shared with other departments. Each of these expansions builds on prior successes. But it also adds more people, more apps, and more data. How do they manage this increasing load? We’ve created a set of advanced performance tools to solve this problem. Read on to learn how you can ensure your Quickbase apps continue to run quickly as they grow. Background Quickbase runs on a purpose-built, in-memory database which is optimized for speed and complexi

Good morning. In a relationship there is table A(parents) and table B (childs) .Since my beginnings in quickbase I have question... ¿Why does quickbase allow you to delete records from table A regardless of whether it has a related child in table B?Marcelo Benavides Torres------------------------------Marcelo Benavides------------------------------
Workflow automation has taken many forms in Quickbase over the years. It could be a simple email notification, a dynamic form rule, or even a complex script triggered by a webhook. But one thing that’s clear is that workflow automation is only going to increase in importance for customers and use cases of all kinds. To meet those evolving requirements, we have spent the last year growing and improving the workflow automation capabilities of our powerful new Pipelines technology. Now, as we continue to look toward the future, we must also evaluate the role of older and less flexible features like Quickbase Automations. That’s why we will be retiring Quickbase Automations in favor of Pipelines. On June 30, 2022, Automations will reach End of Support. What End of Support means for you The next step in retiring Automations will come on June 30, 2022, when the feature will reach End of Support. At that time, you will no longer be able to create new automations. This also means that t
Here at Quickbase, we’ve always been focused on removing complexity and confusion from the process of solving business challenges. That’s why we are excited to announce that this October we are starting the process of introducing an exciting change to the way we align the integration channels in Pipelines with your Plan. The change will consist of two updates that are designed to open the door to a wide range of new connected solutions in Pipelines. There will no longer be a limit to the number of channels that can be enabled and used for each account We’re introducing a new tiered channel access model, bundling our integration and automation capabilities into categories that align with our pricing plan tiers We will be rolling these updates out to accounts in waves throughout the remainder of Q4 '22, and all customers should expect to see the change go live before the end of the year. Eliminating Channel Limits As more and more integrated solutions are created with Pipelines, one p
We are trying to add events but when we do, our recipients' calendars events, added by our outlook channels, aren't displaying the time zone relative to the user just the invite date/time. Anyone have a fix?TIA------------------------------Blake Taylor------------------------------
This plugin allows you to make really dynamic filters, in the same window you can select the table, the fields you want to show and the fields you want to filter. It is not an external plugin, It must be included in one of your QuickBase APP. ------------------------------Marcelo Benavides------------------------------
