Intro
I’m Kevin Montgomery (he/him), Marketing Operations Developer from the AIR MILES Reward Program in Toronto, Canada. Primarily, I’m responsible for maintaining our Quickbase realm and developing apps to help streamline and scale up our processes.
Quickbase Beginnings
I have been using Quickbase since October 2018. First, as a participant in a time-tracking app. Then, in January 2022, I accepted a new position to help manage and develop the functionality of our marketing execution app, which has since grown into developing several apps for our marketing and finance departments.
On a personal level, I also use my Quickbase builder account to prototype weird and wonderful models, including weight management, gas price trends, and electoral reform. I think I realized I was hooked on Quickbase when I found myself jumping to my builder account to prototype an idea rather than firing up a spreadsheet or a local XAMPP server instance.

How has Quickbase changed the way your team/customers/employees work?
Quickbase enables my colleagues to consolidate, optimize, and scale up their otherwise disjointed processes, leaving them more time to focus on doing their best work. -
What’s a build or project you’re most proud of?
A gas price tracker in the province of Ontario, using open source data to track market trends and speculate when gas prices are favourable.

Spending time with my twin toddlers, or reading about the latest CSS and HTML specifications. -

Coffee and video game lofi. -
How do you like to unwind after a full day of Quickbasing?
Watching Netflix, a documentary on Tubi, of MCC on Twitch. -
