Question

Conditional Dropdown Field Remove Ability to Add New Option

Forum|alt.badge.img+9

I have setup a conditional dropdown with two fields and would like to turn off the ability to create new dropdown options for a particular role.  Currently at the bottom of the dropdown list it shows the option to create a new option.

Thanks

    Hey Brian,

Right click on your field and uncheck " Allow users to create new choices".

    Brian,

If you are using a table for  your dropdown, you can restrict this by editing the role of your users, for example, the role of PARTICIPANTS cannot create a new record, thus eliminating that prompt.
