I had to disable averages and totals from a report I use in document creation because it adds the additional row with no label, indicating it's an average or total.

I saw a video somewhere showing how to add separate area for totals, but can't find it anywhere and it's not included in the Document Creation help.

I'm creating customer invoices and the totals/subtotals are important. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction or provide the solution.

I’d leave totals turned off on the report and put them on the invoice record itself instead.

On the invoice table, add summary fields from the line items, like Total of Amount. If you need subtotals, add more summary fields that only total the lines matching certain criteria, like taxable vs non-taxable.

Then in the template, below the report, add your own labels and insert those fields next to them, like Subtotal, Tax and Total. You control the labels, placement and formatting, and the numbers always match the lines above.
