How to solve issue that only connection owner can add new fields to a connected table ?

How to solve the issue that only connection owner can add new fields to an already connected table. In case if a connection owner is away there must be a way to add fields for otherss in case of emergencies.

There is no real solution at present, but some of my clients use a service account to own all Automations, Pipelines and Connected Sync tables. That way when the main QuickBase administrator leaves the company everything doesn't break. Instead authorize staff at the client use that IT administrator user ID to build any of those types of connections. That way the password is known to a few people in the IT department.
