I need to filter an embedded report list with a dropdown

I have a projects table with a report link (embedded report). This report is filtered based on a drop down that contains kit type. By selecting the kit type, the report shows a list of line items. I now need to limit the show/hide some of the line items based on another drop down. This kit table currently does not have a relationship to the project table.....what is the best method for accomplishing this filter. Just as a note there is no part type in the kit table so if I needed to do this by filtering part type, I will need to add that column of information

      If you click on the Full Report link on the top left, that will give you the same report but will also give you access to the dynamic filter functionality of a full report on the left, and you could simply have your necessary filters (up to 5) usable there. I don't know of a good way to do what you want within the parent form with the embedded report.
