Make the text field smaller on display mode

I'd like to make the text field smaller on display/view mode because it's taking too much space of the form and make the form look weird. Please see below. All the fields are too long even they are numeric fields. Please help and show me how to make it smaller. THANKS!!1

    The simplest way to shorten the block of text is to add a text element after it on your form. You can add as many spaces to the text box as you need to 'push' it to the left. It's a hack, but it works.

    You could also add a section break between the text and the fields without a header and set the form properties to not show horizontal rules.
