I have a pipeline that says it's updating a record but it's not.

I have an identical pipeline that is working.  It take a file attachment uploads it to Sharepoint and then updates the quickbase record with the link to the sharepoint attachment.

I have two on the same quickbase but different tables.  The first one I created works fine and the second one says it works and it does except for updating the quickbase record with the sharepoint link.

How can I tell where it is failing?

Double check the fields you're updating and maybe a cheat code would help by just duplicating the pipeline and update the fields which you're updating records that is if the two pipelines are doing the same task but from different tables.

Start with the activity log. On My pipelines, open the menu on the pipeline, choose View activity, open a recent run, and expand the Update Record step. You can see what it sent, which record it targeted, and its output.

Since the run says it succeeded, these are the usual suspects:

The Update Record step points at the wrong table or record. If the second pipeline started as a copy of the first, check the table on every step and make sure the Record ID comes from this pipeline's trigger.

The link value is empty. If the SharePoint value you mapped in is blank, the update runs and writes nothing. The activity log leaves empty values out of the output, so if you don't see the link there, that's your problem.

The link field isn't mapped on this table's Update Record step, or it's mapped to a field that was renamed or replaced.

Putting the Update Record step side by side with the working pipeline usually shows the difference quickly.
