+22I have done a crazy complicated app to track the manufacturing of custom sound systems. These would be the large commercial speakers for night clubs and other music venues, including outdoor events.
The app is complicated because the essence of the app is kitting. Each speaker can have custom components in it, so we need to track component inventory and then when the inventory is "kitted up" into an assembled speaker, that inventory is not longer available to use for other Products as say that "driver" is not longer sitting on a shelf but is now inside an assembled speaker Cabinet.
The app also tracks what the std components are for each product, they std costs, and hence allows the client to quote on selling prices and know their margins.
It uses the Juiced EF+ add on to generate invoices and quotes and purchase orders.
