Report Formula

We have a table of Purchase Orders and a table of Budget Lines.

We are merge copying both tables to a Reports table.

The link between a Purchase Order (there maybe many) and a Budget Line is the Project Code field on each.

We are trying to write a Report Formula where the sum of Purchase Orders with Project Code "ABC" can be compared to the Budget Line with Project Code "ABC".

Thanks,

Way to do this is to have a table of project codes where the key field is the project code and then make a relationship so that one project code has many purchase orders and  project code as many budget lines.

Then you will be able to do a summary field on those two relationships to summarize the value of the budget lines and the value of the purchase orders.
