Reset child dropdown whenever master dropdown changes

If Dropdown1 or Dropdown2 changes then make childdropdown1 blank(reset).

Is there a way to capture dropdown change event in form rules?

It�s a non trivial question. I will think about it while I have my breakfast. I�m cycling though Germany now.
