I am new to QuickBase and am not a developer but am trying to simply update one table by entering data into a form from another table. I have created a relationship between the two tables. Is it possible without using API?
Details: I have an Events Table which has a form that includes the Related Artist Name field. I want to enter a new Event inculding the Artist Name and have it update the Artist Table.

If you want to have the details of the child record Events appear on the Parent Artist record, then there will have been a field created on the Artists table for the Events. The field type will be Report Link. put the field on the Artists form and select the form setting to show the Events on the form.
