App Version Number / Unique Identifier

Hi,
I have an App developed - and as part of the records created I want to capture the version number or unique identifier for the app. So going forward if calculations are changed I can identify during analysis when the App was updated.

Is there a version number, unique identifier, modified that can be automatically captured for the overall App and saved as an element of a record.

    All records have a date created written in indelible ink.  You can leverage that against a table of versions that you maintain manually to see when the version was changed.
