From the parent table (FWA Investigations) a task record (child table: Tasks) can be added and displays in the parent table. I want to create a report that will show me when there aren't any task records that have been created under the parent table.

np,

Go to the relationship where one FWA Investigations has many Tasks.

Make a summary field using the option of if there are any Tasks.  That will end up being a checkbox field type.

Then create a report on FWA Investigations filtered by that chechbox summary field.
