Can a pipeline update a reference field?

Question

My pipeline is finding the record I want to update but it is not updating the reference field in the record as intended with the record Id# from the parent. Is what I am trying to do possible?

Really dumb question. Reference field wasn't updating in my pipeline because I had inserted an extra loop.------------------------------George Bramhall------------------------------
