Can I create a multi-select text field in which the values pull from a lookup field?

Hello, 

I have added a lookup field that contains employees names from another table. I would like to create a multi-select field that is populated based off of the lookup field. 

1. Is this possible to do?
2. If so, can someone walk me through doing so?

Please let me know if I need to provide more detail.

    Unfortunately there is not a native way to do it based on a lookup field.

    However, you can make that list display values based on a value from a different table, which means your "Employee Name" list.  But, this list will not be filtered at all, and could grow large.

    Take a look at this option and see if it solves your problem.

    Hi all, AT Multi-select Text field potions, when selecting "From another field", it prompted to 778 choices specified. Field may not have more then 100 choices. How to fix it since we have done this with the long list over 500 and it works before, but can't do it this time.
