Users Grid edit a report and I can't track who modified a field. Can I create a webhook to track who modified the field?

If your field is a text or user input field then use the logs edits field options for that field and save the hassle of a webhook.

Hi Shontay,

It is possible to set up a webhook or automation to capture the user who changed a field by setting up the webhook/automation to trigger so that when a record is update and that field is changed it captures the last modified by field and saves it either into a log field or into a hidden child table that tracks the value they changed the field to and who changed it. That way if someone else comes along and changes it again it will also be captured with a full log of when, who, and what the changes were even if grid edit is used multiple times since it is focused on that field change as the trigger and captures the last modified by at that moment (that step may need to be combined with other webhooks or automations if they fire off other changes on that record to avoid too much interaction.
