Comparing two text fields

Hi all. Let's say I have two, multi-line text fields. One is meant to be for a first draft, the other for a final draft. Can anyone think of a clever way via a third field - formula rich text I would presume - of highlighting the differences between the two? For instance, let's say the text of the first draft was: "ABC 123" and the text of the second draft was "ABC 456", the formula field might display "ABC 456" - the bold (or highlighting perhaps) could denote the change. Granted, it might not be able to denote all changes (e.g. the removal of text), but even the ability to identify additive content would be a step forward. Thanks!

Unless your fields are going to be limited to just a handful of characters, this is going to be well outside the capabilities of a formula. Most likely, you'll have to push the data to a script or 3rd party system that will be able to do something that complex.
