Custom form popup using IOL

Does anyone know how to invoke/utilize the native CKEditor using IOL method in order to show richtext editor for text area field in custom form.  Currently i am using dialog html method to pop up a custom form from a button.  What i would like to do is use ckeditor in the pop rather than the simple dialog.

      I'm not sure about CKEditor specifically, but you may be able to add custom javascript to treat a <div> element as a popup message.
