Dashboards- can I copy just one set/section of buttons from one dashboard to another?

Dashboard- can I copy just one set/section of buttons from one dashboard to another

    If you were starting a brand new dashboard you could copy it and hack away what you don't want, but there is not a way to copy from one dashboard into another existing dashboard.
    That's what I thought - but just wanted to ask.
