Determining size of most recently uploaded file

This is another subject I post every 6 months or so, in hopes that someone has figured it out.

Does anyone know if there is a way to have QuickBase to extract the file size of the most recent upload? I know I can see it by clicking on the revision history, but I would like to use the number in a formula.

There is no native way, so it would have to be something sneaky....
