Do Automations count towards API limits?

I was looking at my API usage and noticed that the days I was heavily test Automations my API usage shot up. So I'm curious if Automations count towards the API limits, and is it documented anywhere? If so, I can't seem to find it.

    Hi Ryan,

    They shouldn't count against your API limits but we will double check. In the meantime, could you please open a support case for this issue so that we can track it through the proper channels?
