Drop Down filter

Question

Hi, I have a projects table with a child request table (with request codes). In general all requests are available to all projects except for 1 request code that is limited to one project type "A". I am trying to figure out how to create a report filter that will exclude this one request code from being displayed accept for project type "A".

Here is a low tech solution.Make a Dynamic form rule.When Related Project is (select the Project A from the drop down).andRequest Type is (the one that is not allowed) Action:1. Change request type to blank.2. Display a message:  "Sorry, but this request type is not allowed to be select for Project Type".  Please select a valid request Type. and then uncheck the box below to ensure that the Rule fires "all the time".Note that Dynamic form rules only work on forms.  If you need this enforced in Grid Edit, you can make a Custom Data Rule.
