Drop down Returns Record ID Instead of Selected Value

Good morning,

I'm using a conditional drop down in a grid edit report. The drop down shows the size options, but once a value is selected, it returns the record ID to the grid edit, rather than the value itself. So for example I want to select the 4.2 size for the area "End Caps". When I click on the drop down, I see the options for 4.2 and 7.4, but when I select 4.2, the record ID of "2" shows on the grid edit, rather than the value of 4.2. Is there a way I can show the value rather than the record ID?

    You can set the proxy field for ESL Size to be the field ESL Type and just use that field on the report. Is that what you were trying to accomplish? The user selects the size on the drop down and the size shows after they move out of that field?
