Question

Edit fields in a report without having to go into grid edit?

This question is just food for thought, I dont expect an answer beause I suspect this is cutrrently impossible. Maybe with a new UI release for QuickBase, who knows?

But is it at all possible to edit a field in a report by just clicking it (almost like double click to rename) kinda thing. Instead of using grid edit?

That feature will be in the new Mercury UI.  I've seen it and used it.  Now when that UI is released.... who knows

They shut down the beta version in January, stating it would be down for up to 3 weeks while they do some improvements... 3 months later... still nothing.

Matthew/Mark,
From more recent posts I have gathered that Mercury is not replacing QuickBase classic.  Do either of you know if OP's request ("editing fields in a report without going into it") is slated to be added to QuickBase classic any time soon?  Thanks!

I have not heard of that being on any kind of roadmap for classic, aside from the current Grid Edit method.

Thanks for the quick reply!
