Grid Edit A Report Link (child table)

Question

When you grid edit a report link that is a child table, and you add items to the bottom, for others - does it automatically relate the items to the parent?

I seem to remember that it used to, and it does not for me anymore. Wondering if it ever did, and if what I am seeing is intended behavior?

Yes it normally does auto attach to the parent as long as you are editing on the form
