Grid Edit and Search & Replace at Report Level

Hello!

This is a two-part question:

1. I have a legacy form with an embedded report where my stores can click on grid edit and make their updates. After a calculated cutoff date, I don't want them to be able to edit anymore.

• I've added a section to appear after the cutoff date (and hide the editable section) with a report that is meant to be view only, but the report still offers the grid edit option. 
• I know that grid edit ability is role based, but is there a way to cut it off at the report level? I can't shut it off at the role level, as some stores will have a later cutoff date and still need to grid edit. 

2. Is there a way to separate grid edit from search and replace in a report?

• I want my stores to be able to grid edit, but not to search and replace.

Any other creative solutions are welcomed and appreciated!
