Grid edit- disable editing for some columns

Can I disable editing for some columns/ not to be edited in the grid edit mode?
In my report, there are 2 columns which only needs to be updated by user so I wanted to keep remaining columns read only/ non-editable. Is there way to do this?

    Since you cannot directly control that the best way is to have a report with mirror formula fields and of course formula fields will not be editable.

    I would name then like.

    [Expected Arrival Date.]
    with a formula of [Expected Arrival Date]

    no one will notice the . in the field name.
