How to add B. C. dates?

Hello,Does anybody know how to add B. C. dates in the date field (for example 1/1/500 B.C.)? Is there any way to this using date field or should I create a formula instead?Thank you------------------------------Aleksandra Rakita------------------------------

Are you just recording these dates in B.C.? Do you need to use them in calculations?

You can save them as a simple text in a text field, but if you wish to convert them to a date to use in calculations, you'll need to use a formula to adjust them.
