Placekey Feedback or Opinions

Hello Database Experts!

I recently started learning about Placekey and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about it.  On the surface it sounds like a great resource to use as a unique ID inside QuickBase tables to either easily relate tables to each other or to outside resources.

Thanks!
