Reports in the Mobile Application

I have recently created an application and want to use the Mobile App for customers who are out in the field.

The look of reports and forms out-of-the-box seems poor.  My customers are complaining that it is not user-friendly.  The rest of quickbase is awesome when you learn what you're doing that I guess the is something about development for the mobile application that I have not learned.

Why aren't the fonts sized properly for a mobile device?  There is an enormous amount of unused real estate on the screen but rows are compressed so that you have to click a "+" sign to see more of the row.  Is there a secret setting (or more) that I need to make as I am building the browser-based webpages?

Thank you for any help!

This might help understand how to design to get the best out of the mobile experience.

The reports will show he first three fields.  So make the first three "good ones" or else cheat and make a concatenated fields to make the most out of those three fields.
