RESTful API - Muliti-Line text field: what is the newline character?

Question

I'm attempting to send a newline character as part of the JSON but it doesn't seem to be working. From Quick Base API Portal docs, Multi-Line-Text indicates /n is the newline character.Here's the JSON snippet from my script
