Run saved import triggered by an action

Question

I have a connected table I use to bring in data from a vendor's Quickbase app.
I also have a saved Import that brings in specific fields to a table within my own app.

Is there a way to "automatically" trigger my saved import from a connected table?

I would be open to an hourly Import, or an Import based on changed field values in the connected table.

with native Quick Base, no. But this can be done with some code, and most likely an outside cron job that checks for the changes.
