Sample Data not reflecting Default Value (Field Properties, Numeric-Currency)

I am entering a default value, but the sample data is not reporting and when viewing outside of Field Properties, shows blank. I have this function working on two other similar fields, but this one refuses to update. If I can provide any more information, please let me know.

The default value will populate when new records are being created. 

If you need to initialize existing records you can:

  1. Run a List All Report and use the find and replace option
  2. Do a Grid Edit
  3. Change change it to a formula field with a formula of 75 and then change it back to a regular numeric field.  Option three has the advantage that it does not change the [Last Modified by] or the [Date Modified] fields.
