Setting restrictions on one field based on another

We have a table in which anyone can create a new record, but only 2 people are allowed to "approve" the record. How can we set it up so the creator can't approve their own record? The approvers can and do use grid edit to fill in their name, so I can't use a dynamic form rule.

    How about an Automation to reverse the approval if the approval status changes and yje Asprovsl Status is Approved and the record owner = last modified by.
