Subtracting

Question

I'm sure that the fix is easy but I'm having a brain fart tonight.

I'm looking to get a total amount of miles driven. The user enters their starting and ending miles in a numeric box and I need to tell the program to subtract the ending miles from the starting miles to get a total driven.

Any thoughts?

Assuming that you have two separate numeric fields on the same record, one for the starting mileage and one for the ending mileage, then Quick Base is exactly the same as Excel.

Make a formula numeric field and use the formula

[Ending Odometer] - [Starting Odometer]
